Successful weekend!

Well we have lots of updates from this weekend! We had a pretty busy weekend lined up for us. Mom & Dad came down for the weekend and so did someof our best friends from Troy.

As you know "Betsey" was on her last life and so we have been trying really hard to get everything done to be able for me to get a new car. After car searching 2 weekends ago Justin & me had decided on an '07 Black 4runner Sport edition. We were "in-love". So we had gone through a pretty complicated process all last week trying to get approved for financing, etc. My wonderful father-in-law agreed to co-sign with me so we could get the best interest rate possible (which we did, Thanks Mr. Wayne-Love you!). We had been given a great insurance quote and luckily Hayley & Buck were coming up so they were able to get the paperwork from Mr. Wayne and bring it to us Friday so that I could get my new car on Saturday. So, Saturday rolls around and we are all so excited! Dad meets Justin & I at the car dealership and we are ready to get everything finished up. The guy who had been talking with me, Nic, comes out and meets us and asks if we want to take her for a spin before I sign the paperwork. So we look outside and see a gray 4runner sr5, not a black 4runner sport. So we say where is the black one? He looks confused and asks "What black one?" We say the one we are here to get. So after they all scramble around "looking into the situation", which takes 30 mins, they come to the conclusion that it has been SOLD!!! I'm in shock because my dream car is gone and I'm left with "Bets". I didn't know what to do, I just couldn't believe it was happening!! So after alot of talking and " I'm sorry, it's all my faults". We decide to leave and no new car for Kala today atleast. Dad suggests that we just look around and make sure there is not another SUV I like better. So as we are looking I spot this white 4runner. I think huh, this is odd I've never seen this one and not to mention they did not even mention this one to us. I take a look and it's a limited 4runner with 4wd and the inside is amazing and the car is loaded. So I tell Justin I want to see this car and get the details! We are definitely thinking this is an '09 and it's way out of our price range and it probably already belongs to someone. So we go back in and come to find out it's an '06 with the same amount of miles on it as the other one and it's the same price! I couldn't believe it! I was thinking ok, maybe someone doesn't have a little voo doo doll on me after all!! YESSS! We take her for a drive and it's perfect! The car is actually nicer than the other one and rides great! So after getting more details and telling them that actually we will take this one we got $1900 for "Bets" and $500 off the sticker price at a no-haggle dealership!! YAY! But, Mr. Wayne was in Luverne so how am I going to be able to take her with me, is what I'm thinking to myself. How do I not know they are going to let this one get sold too? So I'm starting to freak out again. Then they inform me that since the car would be in my name too, I could sign my part and they can mail Mr. Wayne the paperwork again and I could take her!! YESSSS!!!!! I am getting my new car! I couldn't believe I was having all this good luck! Very rare!! So needless to say after all the DRAMA, I did get a new car and it was probably a blessing in disguise because we actually like this one better!! So "Betsey" & me said our final farewells and I wished her good luck in her next life! I just hope someone gives her good love and cares for her well. I hope she makes another 16 year old happy. So everyone keep "Betsey" in your thoughts and remember her well! :)

Justin has had another great week at work! Loves the people and atmosphere, still a busy bee! A lot of changes to be and new ideas to be brought into the business. He works with one of his sons, which is his boss too and it seems like they are getting along extremely well! Matthew told Justin he thinks he needs a '42 in flat screen in his office so he when Justin needs to show him something he can just hook it up to tv and show him that way. Which Justin says the conference room is right by him which has a '52 in flat screen that he could use but Matthew doesn't think so, so Justin is perfectly fine with that. Haha! They have a company car they let everyone at the office use during the day for errands or they can use it on weekends if they need it for something special and it a 10 ft. trailor. So now he finally have resources to move things, YES! So let's keep praying everything goes smooth sailing!! :)

I got to see the time travelers wife this weekend and it was awesome! For those of you who have not heard of it, it's soo great! I read the book first, which is sooooo awesome! It's a must read!
